Christmas songs playing ... I am sitting here on my bed ... monitoring, listening to Skip.
He was having a bad dream earlier, breathing hard, moaning. He was restless.
I asked him what was he dreaming ... without fully waking up, he tried to tell Me. In his dream he was driving a big truck ... he mumbled the rest.
When he does that I always talk to him softly to guide, help himself out of the dream. I softly suggest good things for him to dream about.
This morning it was suggesting to him to dream about Christmas, his very favorite time of year.
I sat up, reached for my tablet, went to YouTube, selected old-fashioned Christmas songs ... to play. The music began to play ...
He quieted down, breathing became calm. I sat here not realizing it until this very moment ... the Christmas music had ME softly smiling to myself, rocking my body to the beat!
Hey, I'm in a Christmas mood, now! I think that's a fun thing at 5:26 am in the morning! Today's going to be a good day!
