I Am The Darkness ... the Killing Kind

He didn't know I was there, much less the girl he was choking to death.  She was past screaming.  I could hear her struggling to breathe ... then ...

A loud gasp and a 'what the f__k'! came from his mouth.  He fell to the ground as his hands went to his head.  He began to stand up, growling like an animal.  His hands were clenched as if he wanted to choke ... he didn't see anything!

I stood just out of reach, smiled.  He still didn't know I was there.  Why should he?  It wouldn't matter either way ... he was a dead man.  I enjoyed playing with him.  I didn't think he was having fun.

He turned around in circles hoping to see what had hit him over the back of his head.  Nothing ... nothing was there.  He looked to where the young girl lay still.  I didn't think he had killed her ... hoping she was playing dead.

I had unfinished business ... and it was because of her.  I was killing the rapist son of b____ who dared to prey on a woman, child, animal on my watch.

The bastard felt the back of his head.  I hadn't really hurt him ... yet.  He looked down at his hand in the night light ... no blood.  He looked back to the young girl, began to unzip his pants.  He pulled his d___ out ... he was going to finish what he had started.  He was going to get him some of that young stuff.

He kicked her legs apart.  He could see her panties.  Her skirt was very short.  He knelt down, placed his hands on her crotch.  He pulled at her panties, wiggled them down to her ankles, pulled them off, let them fall to the ground.

I watched with a cold smile ... he was going to have more than an orgasm when I got through with him.  In fact, I was enjoying the wait to the right moment to send him to the other side.

He fumbled to get inside the young girl.  It wasn't easy, he managed.  I heard the most awful scream come from her throat.  He reached for her neck ... he was going to finish the little girl off this time.

He never saw me coming ... I stepped out of the dark, held up my hand.  I saw a glint come off the metal bar I held in my hand.  As he was choking the life from the little girl, grinding his hips on her at the same time ... I came down with all my might.

I killed that poor son of b___.  He never moved after that lick.  I pulled him off the little girl.  I wrapped my cloak of black around her, held her close to my chest.

I whispered to her that everything was going to be alright now.  Finally, she stopped crying.  She couldn't see me, yet she fully trusted me.  She stayed in my arms for some time.

I heard someone calling a little girl's name.  I heard a woman crying, a man's voice soothing her, telling her they would find little Susie.  She just got lost, that's all.  She'll hear us, come running to us.  Susie!  Susie!  It's mommy and daddy!  Susie!

Susie became alert, began softly crying.  She wanted her mommy and daddy.  I kissed her gently on her forehead, gave her a gentle push toward the sound of her parent's voices.  She ran for her life.

I tucked myself back into the blanket of darkness ... no one could see, hear me.  I watched as the child ran into her mother's waiting arms.  I listened as the mother cried her heart out knowing this time, she was lucky to have her little girl back.  She would never let her out of her sight ever again.

I moved easily in the darkness where I was born, raised.  I was the darkness.  I could reach from the shadows anytime when needed.  No one ever saw me coming.

I struck with a vengance whenever I saw someone mistreating an old person, homeless person, innocent animals and children.  When I struck ... no one ever came back.  No second chances here.

I am the darkness ... the killing kind.

I'm Not Here to Harm You ...

I'm Not Here to Harm You ...

I just blocked an aggressive want-to-be friend.  I noticed on his FB page he said at different places he was from Washington, then from Texas, Queensland.  Then, he said he was from Ohio.

I also, noticed the foreign characters near English words ... and he was in the Army.  He was a 'Gen Li Xiang from Ohio'.  I picked up on 'I serves' ... I don't believe a general is going to speak, write like that.

I tried to get him to stop ... he didn't ... so, I blocked him.  I have this happen more times than I want. I really get tired of someone trying to play me for a fool.

I check out people when I feel I need to ... I'm always sensing ... paying close attention to whom I 'friend' now on Facebook.  You all know the reasons we all need to pay attention.  No one wants to be someone's victim ... I'm not going to be.  I don't play games with anyone.  I wasn't born yesterday.

Another give-away is the wording ... 'I'm not here to harm you'.  Look below, you can see his communication in gray ... my communication is in blue.

Did he think I was an lonely, old woman who needs a man?  Did my expression on some photo look 'too kind'.  Do I look like a dummy?  Did he think because I care about people ... I would be easy? Did he think I was rich ... wanting to part with retirement/widow funds to keep him up?  I wonder just 'wtf' ... that man thought?

Did you sense anger ... amazement ... from me?  You might just be right.  Those words keep going through my mind .... 'I'm not here to harm you'.  I even looked around to see if something was up in the air ... that just came from space.  Good thing ... I would try to 'harm' it.  :)  I get tired of that BS.

Who are you?
I am Gen Li Xiang from Ohio and you?
I know you aren't the person you say you are ... I just checked you out.
okay
you need to believe me because i am not here to harm you
Okay ... Facebook is watching you now ... so, to save you grief you need not write to me again. All I have to do is to let them know again about you ... they are waiting to get in contact with you.
okay
how are you doing ?
if you don't want me to be close to you as a new friend you can forget about it okay
You need to not write me again! I don't need you for friend. I am forgetting this. If you write again, you will get into trouble.

stop saying that okay
why will a beautiful princess like you act that way?

'DO NOT PEE HERE ... WE PEE BACK'

'Do Not Pee Here ... We Pee Back'
By Gloria Faye Brown Bates/aka Granny Gee/@GeeGranny on Twitter

I'm not responsible for this expression ... but, photo is of me, owned by me.  Gloria Faye Brown Bates/aka Granny Gee

Did you know ... if you are a man ... that if you step up to a painted wall to pee ... that it will literally pee back on you?  In fact, your own pee ...  'pees' back on you.

In San Francisco, they have used this special paint on walls to stop people from peeing on the walls.  Not only because it shouldn't be done in public, smells very bad ... it's unsanitary.

Now, you can get peed on if you pee on a wall with this special paint.  The 'wall pees back at you'!

I have to think it's funny because if you aren't careful ... 'you can go to pee ... come back pissed on ... pissed off'.  I know, I know ... it isn't funny and I'm not laughing even a little ... okay, okay ... I'm laughing ... a lot.  That's quick justice, don't you think?

Suppose Karma worked that quick ... when you did bad, it instantly came back to you!

Anyway, just remember in big cities, around ball parks and places men go to pee ... your pee could pee back at you!  Just as fast as you pee, the wall pees it back on you!

I saw this on tv, and Googled it ... you can Google it.  Here are links that tell, show you about this paint.   Check them out ... and remember ... it could be you!

I can't help but, wish Karma could be so swift!  We'd all be very good in this big, old world!  I know it would be great incentive to watch my lip, curb my tongue ... actions!  :)

I Carry My Own Baggage ...

I Carry My Own Baggage ...

Photo owned by me ... taken in my closet ... Gloria Faye Brown Bates/aka Granny Gee

I have been sick for over a week now ... I only have mild discomfort in my lower left side now.  It has been excruciating pain all week.  I have diverticulitis ... among other things.  I'm not knocking it ... the oncologist said I should have died 16 years ago.  So, truthfully ... how can I complain?

I can cry, moan and groan because I hurt, and take medicine and all 'that sort of thing' ... but, I never think I can complain.  I tell myself this over and over ... 'hellfire, it hurts so bad but ... I'm not complaining'.

Now, I don't tell you about crying if something hurts.  I'm not super woman , you know.  I don't tell you when I suffer a lot.  It doesn't do any good to complain ... and to be truthful ... who gives a damn?  Oh, another thing ... what good does it do?  Does it make the pain any less?  No.  Why should I mess your day up?

You see people who can't wait to make you sorry for them.  Woe is me ... feel sorry for me.  I'm not going to make anyone feel sorry for me.  I've suffered in one way or other most all my life ... I'd rather make someone not like me enough to keep them from being close enough to see me hurting.  I will deal with my own pain.  You won't ever have to.

That's not saying I don't truly appreciate people caring.  It means so much.  I mean it really touches me if I mention I'm not up to par ... and someone cares.  I'm amazed ... they don't have to do that.  I never take anything for granted.

Don't expect me to go on and on about 'oh poor me, I was hurting so bad' ... I'm not.  I'm too-ready to get past it so, I can think, do other things.

It feels good to feel good once again.  You don't have to know how much I have suffered.  I can carry my own baggage.  :)

Damn that Bump!

Damn that Bump!
By Gloria Faye Brown Bates/aka Granny Gee/aka GeeGranny on Twitter

Gloria Faye Brown Bates/aka Granny Gee on Facebook.com/grannygee .... @GeeGranny on Twitter

We were driving through a parking lot that had bumps in it to slow cars down.  Now, I hate those bumps ... especially since I've been through several surgeries.  To this day ... a bump can still cause me to hurt.  It goes through my body ... very painful.

Skip was driving and as he drove slowly over each bump, he told me he knew the bumps hurt me ... he also, knew I didn't like them.  I didn't say anything and tensed up ... for another painful ... bump.

Several bumps in a row ... hurt so bad!  I tensed up, and as soon as he drove over the next bump I told Skip ... "that hurt so bad!"

What was so funny ...  that bump and several more after that one ... were just ... painted on the pavement!

Damp that bump!  It didn't hurt at all!

Note by this Author:    Funny how something can be painted to look like the real thing ... and affect one just like the real thing!  Ha! Ha! Ha!

I Saw Grief In a Father's Eyes Today

I Saw Grief In a Father's Eyes Today
By Gloria Faye Brown Bates/aka Granny Gee/@GeeGranny on Twitter

Gloria Faye Brown Bates/aka Granny Gee ... I met up with pure, raw grief today ... it affected me deeply.  I am walking on this road ... I haven't met up with anyone else before ... whose child has died.

Today Skip and I met up with an old friend of his.  We haven't seen him for years.

We told him that Tommy had died, and I saw pain instantly appear in his eyes.  His son died just months before Tommy died.  I saw the grief in his eyes, on his face.

I could tell the grief made it almost impossible for him to speak.  I knew how he felt ... I'm on that same road in my life.  I didn't press him to talk ... I told him I was so sorry from my Heart.  His son was only 36 years old.

I could almost 'see' the grief ... I looked at him ... I sensed his mind was so full of unspoken grief.  It didn't feel good looking at him ... I sensed he hasn't come as far as I have in coping.  Actually, it hurt me to look at him.

I know no other way of describing what I saw, and what I sensed.  He wasn't the same person I remember.  The light was gone that always seemed to be in him years ago.

His eyes were so ... full of pain.  I saw what people must have seen in my eyes ... gracious.  It hurts me at this moment thinking about his eyes.  I saw raw grief in a father's eyes today.

Hire Me a Crowd ...

Hire Me a Crowd ...
By Gloria Faye Brown Bates/aka Granny Gee/@GeeGranny on Twitter

Hire me a crowd to cheer for me
Love me, adore and idolize me
As long as I have them ... I don't need you

Smile at me like I'm number one
Look up to me, pledge loyalty
Hire me a crowd to worship me

Pat me on the back ... job well done
Cameras rolling ... there's no doubt I'm the one
I'm the greatest ... proof is the crowd who comes to see

Vote for me ... you can't go wrong
Proof's in the crowd who has come to see
Look at the numbers ... I am the one

Sh-hhh, don't say that for anyone to hear!
They don't know I had to hire a crowd to come
No one knows ... no one would have come ... not even one!

I had to hire a crowd for me
To show how popular I am you see
No one ever knowing not even one would come see me

This is the trend in today's time
Nothing is ever as it appears on tv
No one knowing better ... the crowd's been hired by me

We all know everything we see on tv
Is true ... never no doubt
That's why ... I hired a crowd, you see

Vote for me as your president
I'll lead you somewhere ... don't know where yet
I want to look my best to my crowd ... I'll think about that later

When I get to be president I'll learn what to do
For now, I'm most popular, idolized
Proof's in the crowd I hired for you to see!

Note by this Author ... photos/poem owned and written by me ... Gloria Faye Brown Bates/aka Granny Gee.

I was inspired to write this by something I saw on the news this morning.  I couldn't believe, yet in today's time ... nothing is ever what it appears to be.  I should have known this was happening, also.

People go the easy way, cheat to get to where they are going ... never batting an eye or feeling guilty.  No matter how fair, not fair ... they get away with doing this.  Money is the name of the game.

It's sad because when we vote someone into office ... we look at the crowds around them, see how they react towards the candidate.  When you hire a crowd, you'll get the best ... they'll love you to death, and give a good showing.  So, how can one lose when 'everyone loves you' ... proof is in the crowd, you see.
