THE PATH OF GRIEF... I KNOW IT WELL
I KNOW THIS PATH SO WELL, I KNOW HOW THE ROUGH GROUND FEELS, MY HANDS HAVE TRACED THE LUMPS AND BUMPS IN THE DIRT, MY TEARS HAVE MIXED WITH THE SOIL... SOIL MADE OF DIRT, TEARS AND PAIN. I DON'T THINK ANYTHING COULD POSSIBLY GROW WHERE THAT IS... ONE CAN ONLY BE SAVED BY THE LIGHT... THE LIGHT THAT SHOWS THE WAY TO TRAVEL BACK TO LIFE, TO THE SUNSHINE, RAINBOWS AND CLOUDS. I MADE IT BACK AFTER MANY TIMES TRYING SO HARD... SOMETIMES, I STILL HAVE TO TRAVEL BACK DOWN THAT PATH... EACH TIME I DO... I NOTICE MY PATH ISN'T AS DARK NOW. I FULLY EXPECT TO ONE DAY TRAVEL IT AND KNOW .. EVERYTHING IS JUST GOING TO ... BE ALRIGHT. By Gloria Faye Brown Bates/Granny Gee
